Are You Registered with Google My Business?
68% of searchers contact a business directly from Google results
instead of visiting the website first

You need to actually register your business with Google to be listed in local search results. They don’t automatically add you- or even do any research on the legitimacy of your business.
Register by adding a physical address where you can receive mail. Google will send a verification code in the mail to verify the physical location.
MAKE SURE YOUR EMPLOYEES KNOW TO LOOK FOR THIS POSTCARD AND NOT THROW IT AWAY!!

What’s next?
Now, get ready to play catch up.
If you don’t have a list, now’s the time to build one. Offer your customers a free cookie to join your email list. The more people on the list, the more reviews you can help them generate.
IMPORTANT: You can reward people for joining your email list, but if Google gets evidence that you are rewarding customers to leave reviews, they will delete every single review! Be careful!
Getting reviews can be an emotional process. Regardless of how many happy clients, most of them won’t take the time, or don’t know how to leave reviews. If you want to start strong, gather your list and email us with the subject line “Start Strong”.
